- Condition report or specification
- An engineer’s report or specification lets the scope be priced against established conditions rather than assumed ones.
- Extent of the works
- Drawings, a defect schedule or marked-up photographs showing where the work is and how much of it there is.
- Access and occupancy
- Height, occupied areas, heritage controls and any restriction on hours, noise or dust.
